What Phil doesn’t know about Lotus cars isn’t worth knowing!  He’s lived and breathed Lotus his entire working life and is an expert source of knowledge offering advice not only to his own customers but to garages across the world (delivered in his unique style of course!).

Kathy is the one keeping the wheels turning behind the scenes at SWLC, looking after all the non-mechanical parts of the business and making sure everything stays organised.  With support from Kiera, she helps keep the day-to-day running of SWLC on track.

With motorsport in the family from day one, James was always going to be car-mad.  He’s a familiar face at Lotus events around the country, usually with his Lotus Esprit S4S gleaming and Daisy  close by, and brings that same enthusiasm into everything he does at SWLC.

Known as ‘Jevvers’; James has been part of the SWLC team for over a decade and now oversees the day-to-day running of the workshop.  With a real talent for auto electrics and fault-finding, he’s the person you want on the job when things get complicated.  His knowledge, experience and calm approach make him an invaluable part of the team.

Pete joined the SWLC team in 2015 and has a real love for working on classic cars, though he’s always happy to get stuck into whatever comes through the workshop.  Visitors to our open days may already know him for his fantastic cakes, which are a firm favourite each year.  Outside of work, he enjoys taking his 1983 Austin Mini to shows and events across the South West.

Lachie has always had a real passion for motorsport, with British Touring Cars and truck racing high on the list.  At SWLC, he’s focused on mastering all things Lotus, while outside of work his personal mission is to visit every race track in the UK.  He brings that same enthusiasm and drive into the workshop every day.

Heather joined the SWLC team with a real passion for bringing vehicles back to life.  New to the world of Lotus and classic performance cars, she’s quickly getting stuck in and enjoying every challenge along the way.  Her love of classics began in childhood, watching her Popsie restore old Vauxhalls and a V8 Costello MG, and that early spark has stayed with her ever since.

Mike brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience to the SWLC parts team and is always happy to help with any parts enquiries . He began his apprenticeship in 1974 and has worked with a range of dealerships over the years, including Volvo, Citroen, Ford and Renault.  When he’s not at work, he enjoys freshwater fishing and regular trips to Redmire Pool with friends.

Kiera has been a part of the SWLC team for several years and plays a key role in keeping front of house running smoothly. Alongside helping Kathy with accounts, she is always on hand to support customers. Outside of SWLC, she and her husband enjoy competing in local banger races.
