This September we had our annual Open Day and BBQ, and yet again we had an amazing turn out of lots of great vehicles from MK2 Escorts, Lotus Carltons and a Lotus Eleven to name a few.
We also donate all the money raised from the BBQ to charity and this year’s charity is Launceston Foodbank. We can’t believe the amount we raised and we even had a late donation from a former Lanson lad (who owns a very special Lotus Evora) that gave a massive donation and matched our original total! This year we had the pleasure working with the Bangers and Cash Team on there new TV programme ‘Bangers and Cash: Restoring Classics’
We where given the opportunity to help out with the Bangers and Cash team to see if we can recommission a 1981 Lotus Esprit S3 Normally aspirated car back to its former glory. It was a task that we carried out over a 4 months to turn this car into a show stopper and see if the team can make a profit.

Lotus launched the all new Lotus Emira this week and the car will have its first public showing at Goodwood. The car will have two new engine platforms with the 3.6 V6 Supercharged and a all new 2.0 Turbo 4 Cyl AMG engine.
